The Socratic Democracy the Founders Were Too Greedy to Build#
We were told we live in a Democracy; a Republic.
We were told we are free.
We were told the government works for us.
But then you realize that you did not agree to this. You did not sign anything. You were born, registered, numbered, taxed, governed, and represented — without ever giving your consent.
And the worst part? They say it is your government. I ask. Do you feel represented?
The Myth of Consent#
The moment a human is born in the U.S., they are recorded and “certified”; commoditized at birth.
The Birth Certificate is not just a record of your birth. It is the State creating an entity with which they can do business. At that moment, you are in the system — not by choice, but by default.
You did not opt in. You did not sign. Yet you are told you are responsible for laws, taxes, rules, debt, et cetera.
All without ever giving consent.
This Sounds Like Sovereign Citizen Craziness#
You are not sovereign. Nobody is. But your sovereignty can be violated.
And violated it is.
Though, “violated” may be too kind.
When someone takes control of your body, your name, your life, without consent, and tells you it is for your own good…
What else would you call it?
But one does not simply shout “I do not consent” at a judge, legislator, or executive and expect the cards to fall.
So how does one exercise their sovereignty?
Sovereignty Is Not Status. It’s Stance.#
To be Sovereign does not mean you are above the law. Far from it. It means you understand from where laws come and how they interact with you and the Republic.
All authority is derived from consent — and if it is not, then it is coercion dressed up with paperwork.
Sovereignty is not about shouting in courtrooms. It is about showing up with awareness. It is about recognizing that your name, your voice, your will — are yours. Not the property of the State or its entity.
When you walk into any institution and say, “I am here on behalf of myself, for myself”, you are not speaking some magic words. You are speaking a truth — a truth most have forgotten, or simply were never taught.
The Founders Gave Us the Idea — Then Kept the Power#
They told us that they would only be able to govern with our consent. They told us we would be free. Do you feel free? Can we even afford to be free?
They gave us a guarantee. A guarantee in writing that we would have a “republican form of Government”. Republican. Not as a party, but as a form of representation.
And how did they achieve that representation?
By only letting land owners vote.
By refusing to hear our petitions.
By creating a two-party aristocracy.
By designing a system that prioritizes capital over community.
By refusing to promote the general Welfare.
It was a beautiful blueprint…for those already in power. But now? We have they did not.
